Without an audience, the Enfoirés gave everything on TF1!

Despite the absence of spectators, the forty artists offered a very beautiful show, tinged with a particular emotion.

No way the Covid spoils the party.

If this year and for the first time in 32 years because of the pandemic, the Enfoirés played and sang without an audience *, that did not prevent them from offering us a unique show tinged with a particular emotion this Friday evening on TF 1.

From the first painting of the show for the benefit of Restos du cœur, the association created by Coluche in 1985, this edition displays a particular tone.

They are all there to cover Celine Dion's “If it was enough to love” and sing “If we could change things and start all over again (...) we would make this world a dream”.

Words that resonate particularly loudly.

Jean-Louis Aubert, Kad Merad, Patrick Fiori, Nolwenn Leroy, Amir, Amel Bent, Black M, Sébastien Chabal, Slimane, Patrick Bruel, Christophe Maé, Michèle Laroque, Mimie Mathy, Soprano, Zaz or the two newbies, Vianney and Kev Adams, seem more united and motivated than ever.

It is in Lyon that the forty artists recorded last January this show of nearly 3 hours.

No audience, but an intact emotion

While they have been deprived of stage for a year already, the smiles are there with everyone, happy to meet and sing together.

They are a pleasure to see when they cover “À nos souvenirs” from Trois Cafés Gourmands where Vianney plays his first major role, notably with Patrick Bruel and Mimie Mathy.

They are joined by the troupe and it feels like the heart of a popular ball.

It does a lot of good.

The festive and joyful cover of "I say a little prayer" by Aretha Franklin is also very successful.

She invites us to the countryside at the wedding of Slimane and Amel Bent.

Even behind our screen, solidarity and envy are palpable.

Suddenly, you get used to the absence of the public surprisingly quickly.

The emotion is intact, the music takes its place of choice.

There is no downtime, everything is going very fast.

We follow the stars behind the scenes, we go carefree from a song to a sketch.

On the other hand, on the humor side, the absence of an audience is cruel for the Enfoirés.

The sketches - many of which are parodies of shows from TF 1, "The Voice", "Mask singer" ... do not always take, rarely funny.

A tribute to singer Christophe

But, the cover "Paris Seychelles" by Julien Doré sung by Zazie, Claire Keim, Christophe Willem and Jean-Louis Aubert, all dressed up as in the Roaring Twenties, hits the mark.

As for the tribute to Christophe who died last year, it is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the evening.

Thrills guaranteed when hearing Christophe Maé, Jean-Louis Aubert and Zazie sing “Les Paradis Perdus” under a beautiful play of light and in a refined decor.

Another nice painting, the homage to Francis Cabrel, who should have been there, with the cover of the magnificent song “Des hommes simili”.

For more than 30 years, the finale has been the moment we look forward to.

The one where the communion between the public and the Enfoirés is law.

The most moving when they all take up together the words written by Jean-Jacques Goldman: "Today, we no longer have the right to be hungry or to be cold".

This year, it is in front of about fifty volunteers that the troop sang the song of the Restos. Thank you the artists.

* Without the public, no ticket sales and for the Restos du cœur and a shortfall of nearly € 5 million.

More than ever, the association created by Coluche is counting on CD and DVD sales of this annual concert.

The Enfoirés allow him to distribute 20 million meals each year.
