The Government reported

of coronavirus in Argentina
this Sunday
and another
10 deaths
reported in the last 24 hours.
Although the figures reported on Sundays are usually lower than the rest of the week - due to delays in loading data - the numbers published by the Ministry of Health on Sunday were particularly low.
In fact, 10 or fewer deaths from the pandemic had not been reported
since late May last year
, more than 9 months ago.
On the 30th of that month, 8 new fatalities were announced.
With these figures, the country registers
2,149,636
confirmed infections since the beginning of the pandemic, more than a year ago.
This Sunday, according to official data, 150,940 patients are suffering from the disease throughout the country.
Of which 3,467 are admitted to intensive care.
Meanwhile, there are already 52,880 people who have died from Covid-19.
The Public Vaccination Monitor had reported that the total number of inoculated on Saturday was 1,510,622, of which 1,167,821 received one dose and 342,801 both, while the distributed vaccines accounted for 2,642,310.
The Minister of Health, Carla Vizzotti, reported that the arrival and distribution of thousands of doses of vaccines against the coronavirus allowed the provincial authorities to advance in the vaccination of teachers, simultaneously at the beginning of the school year that this year will be held in blended mode throughout the country.
Some 492 thousand doses of Sinopharm were distributed in the provinces since last Monday and can be used by teachers, health personnel and people between 18 and 59 years old with risk conditions, according to the Ministry of Health of the Nation.
