Pd: Zingaretti, after Conte's fall I was left alone

 "What bothered me is that all together we wanted the Conte government, we all wanted it to go ahead, the whole party decided together and I put my face to it. Then when it didn't go through we turned around and didn't there was no one, and they accused us of having said "either Count or death", which I never said ".

Nicola Zingaretti said this to Non è la D'Urso live on Canale 5, about the reasons that led him to resign as secretary of the Democratic Party. 

I confirm my resignation but I do not disappear

- "But yes, the Democratic Party is not a party of the leader but with a leader. We are many, tomorrow I renew the membership card of the Democratic Party, I will not disappear with my ideas. We will remain in politics with our ideas ".

So Nicola Zingaretti answered Barbara D'Urso's question if she confirms her resignation as secretary of the Democratic Party.

"Look, being mayor Rome - he added - will be the most beautiful thing in the world. But I am President and I think this is my job. There are so many energies around, it is not my thought to be mayor".

Populism is not fought with stink under your nose

So Nicola Zingaretti defends Barbara D'Urso returning to his evening program on Canale 5 after the controversy on social media after the Pd secretary had defended the broadcast against the hypothesis of closing the broadcast.
