The Ministry of Health this evening (Sunday) published the latest morbidity data in Corona in Israel, according to which an additional 1,246 infections have been diagnosed since midnight.

The number of active patients is 37,472, with 1,110 people hospitalized in hospitals across the country, of whom 712 are in critical condition and 225 are respirated.

Eight more patients died today, and 5,889 people died in Israel from the outbreak of the plague.

Since midnight, more than 12,000 Israelis have received the first dose of the vaccine, and more than 31,500 have received the second dose.

A total of 4,941,633 received the first dose of the vaccine (53.14% of the population), and 3,748,243 also received the second (40.31% of the population).

Meanwhile, the IMN Information and Knowledge Center report released today continues the forecasts from recent days and states that "we are on the verge of a re-spread of the plague."

Experts predict that the additional reliefs that went into effect today are likely to lead to an increase in morbidity.

The increase in the national infection coefficient, which currently stands at 1.02, is linked by experts to the removal of restrictions.

According to the report, "the British variant is much more contagious (for all ages) compared to previous strains and significantly increases the risk of serious illness and hospitalization." .
