About a week after the end of the show tour in Milan, the Italian fashion house Versace launched the collection for next fall-winter.
The delay, it turns out, was super-trendy, and despite the digital format Donatella managed to elevate the levels of glam and style to new and surprising districts.
It started with the top models identified with the label's sexy vibe, led by Gigi Hadid who officially launched her return to the runway after a classic half-year maternity leave with powerful red hair.
As you may recall, Hadid gave birth to her daughter Kai last September and about a month ago she won her first solo solo on the cover of Vogue USA.
Hadid was honored to open and close the show, with her equally hot sister Bella Hadid and Irina Sheik walking alongside her.

The new collection revealed a bold and refreshing approach that was an impressive turnaround in the familiar style of the fashion house without sacrificing one millimeter in the required glam index.
The center of attention was given to the upgraded monogram pattern, a sophisticated adaptation of the iconic grating motif (Greek letter logo) that was disassembled and reassembled into a diagonal geometric pattern.
The improved look of the Greca has a super-modern look and aligns with the monogrammed heritage trend that has become popular in recent seasons courtesy of the most powerful fashion houses, including Dior, Barbary, Belmain, Goyard and Stella McCartney.

For the sake of emphasizing the logomania that was pumped with a distinctly obvious elegance, the clothes themselves were relatively solid not to say minimalist.
Tailored to a degree that is mostly practical and easy to wear, certainly compared to what we have known to date in Versace.
On the runway, mostly subtle seventies eyeshadows were seen, some with a hipster look with a futuristic touch, starting with a black range and moving to a khaki-brown-stone scale, gradually evolving into electrifying colors of red, yellow, fuchsia, gold and orange, and finally converging again into black.
These gave the stage to the repetitive monogram pattern that appeared on bags, gloves, handkerchiefs, tights and scarves, as well as on total looks from head to toe.
