In various federal states, the police again had to dissolve larger events that violated the Corona requirements at the weekend.

In Freiburg in Baden-Württemberg, officials dug up a kind of corona casino: After previous investigations into a restaurant with illegal gambling operations, the officials found 29 people there in the Haslach district.

"Normal restaurant business" prevailed.

Playing cards and tokens were confiscated as evidence.

»Loud music and party shouts«

On Sunday night, officials also put an end to a birthday party with dozens of guests in Saarbrücken.

The authorities were informed shortly before midnight about the party in the basement of an apartment building.

Already in front of the house "loud music, microphone announcements and party shouts" could be heard.

Police came across 35 people in the basement.

Many of them tried to give incorrect addresses, the police said.

The party was broken up and administrative offense proceedings were initiated against the guests.

Some of the celebrants were reluctant to comply with the evictions.

As the police announced, even guests from Hessen had come to attend the party.

In Frankfurt am Main, the police cleared the harbor park late on Saturday evening after several incidents.

Around 500 young people had previously celebrated there, many of them violating the Corona rules without a safety distance and mask.

That day around 50 people had danced there in a so-called flash mob.

Larger gatherings of people also formed on football and basketball fields.

Fight in the barn

In Westergellersen, Lower Saxony, the police stopped a boxing event with dozens of spectators on Saturday.

According to the Lünebzrg police, a ring was set up in a barn in which fighting was taking place.

About 40 spectators were on site, some without face masks.

When the police arrived at the scene, an ambulance also drove up.

He brought a seriously injured fighter who had come from Berlin to a hospital in Lüneburg.

The organizer stated that the fight had been coordinated with the Lüneburg district.

"Since this was more than unlikely in the period of a tightened corona-related lockdown, the event was terminated by the police," said the officials.

In Munich, the police moved on Saturday night to a party with loud music in the Schwabing district.

The door was only opened after a long ringing and knocking.

The police established the personal details of 27 celebrants, issued reprimands and filed reports.

In Stöttwang in the Allgäu, police officers encountered 21 people in a company on Saturday evening who were sitting together with beer and music.

According to the officials, several escape attempts were prevented, the personal details were collected and passed on to the district office for reporting.
