Stock market: Tokyo, opening significantly higher (+ 1.22%)

(ANSA) - TOKYO, 08 MAR - The Tokyo Stock Exchange opens the first session of the week positively, following the new acceleration of the US stock indices on Friday after better than expected results from the labor market.

Il Nikkei advanced 1.22% to 29,216.07, adding over 350 points.

On the currency market, the yen is once again weakening against the dollar at a level of 108.30 and at 129.20 against the euro.
