Radwan Abu Reya, director of the credit dent dental clinic, says that the effect of the economic situation on some patients can certainly be seen.

"Most other treatments are usually simpler and cheaper, so most patients are able to afford the expenses involved. Dental implants are a longer and more complex treatment and therefore usually also more expensive, so people are more likely to give it up."

"Dentistry has become a commercial field.
