(ANSA) - MILAN, 09 MAR - The Board of Directors of Biancamano and those of the subsidiaries Aimeri Ambiente and Energeticambiente, active in the disposal and management of waste, have resolved to deposit to the Ministry of Economic Development an application for admission to the extraordinary administration procedure and in parallel the recourse to the Court of Milan for the declaration of insolvency.
The extraordinary administration, reads a note, was considered as "the most appropriate tool to deal with the reversible insolvency of the Biancamano group, with respect to which it is believed that there are concrete prospects for recovering the economic and financial balance as well as protecting the interests of the group, of workers, of its creditors, and of all stakeholders ".
The decision was taken following the presentation by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office of the bankruptcy petitions against Aimeri Ambiente and Energeticambiente "for reasons - explains Biancamano - of an alleged state of insolvency, complaining to them the inability to regularly meet their obligations" .
The actions of Biancamano, a private operator that deals with waste digestion and disposal, have been suspended from negotiations in Piazza Affari.
