(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 09 - Cementir Holding, a company of the Altagirone Group, closes 2020 with a group net profit that grew by 22.1% to 102.0 million (83.6 million in 2019).
The CDA proposes the distribution of a dividend of € 0.14 per share in line with the previous year.
"Despite the severe pandemic, in 2020 the Group has shown considerable resilience, with an increase in volumes of cement sold by 12.9%, and revenues at an all-time high. The gross operating margin on a recurring basis increased by 2.2%, the operating result of 3.6% and the group net profit of 22.1% compared to 2019 ", comments the chairman and managing director Francesco Caltagirone Jr.
Revenues rise, as anticipated in the preliminary balance, to the historical record of 1.224 billion, up by 1.1% compared to 2019.
The gross operating margin is 263.7 million, unchanged compared to 2019, the operating result is up of 3.6% to € 157.2 million, net financial debt decreased to € 122.2 million (€ 239.6 million at 31 December 2019).
