Despite the easing, the corona plague is still in retreat: according to Ministry of Health data from tonight (Tuesday), in the last day 1,498 new carriers were identified which is 3.4% out of a total of 44,244 new tests.
This is a decrease from yesterday - then the positive test percentage was 3.9%.
The number of patients hospitalized stands at 1,071 people, while the number of severe patients stands at 660 people.
The number of respirators is 217 and the number of patients in critical condition is 262.
The death toll stands at 5,926, with the current mortality rate still standing at more than 15 a day.
The number of vaccinated in the first dose is 5,017,355, the number of vaccinated in the second dose is 3,899,027 people, which is 41.93% of all Israelis.
The number of people infected with the virus since the outbreak is 807,755 people, while the number of active patients is currently 37,841.
