(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 09 - There is a daily peak in intensive care admissions, according to the new bulletin of the Ministry of Health: in the last 24 hours there have been 278 people in intensive care, never so many at least since last December 3, or since disclosed this data.
There are 19,749 positive tests for coronavirus in the last 24 hours, which bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 3,101,093.
The victims were 376 (100,479 the total).
Yesterday the contagions were 13,902.
The positivity rate drops from 7.5% yesterday to 5.7% today.
The swabs performed were 345,336, almost double compared to yesterday.
Overall, there are 2,756 patients in intensive care for Covid, 56 more than yesterday in the daily balance between entries and exits.
In the ordinary wards there are instead 22,393 people, an increase of 562 units compared to yesterday.
