Sofia Goggia will soon be able to return to skiing, while continuing the rehabilitation program. This, Federsci informs, is the response of the check-up visit to which the Italian ski champion underwent today at the "La Madonnina" nursing home with doctors Andrea Panzeri and Herbert Schoenhuber, of the Fisi Medical Commission.
After performing an MRI and a CT scan, the doctors gave the green light to the continuation of the rehabilitation program which provides for the possibility for Sofia Goggia "to ski in the free field" in the next few days. The Lombard downhill skier had fractured the tibial plateau of her right knee in Garmisch (Germany) on January 31st, a week before the World Championships in Cortina.
