(ANSA) - BARI, 10 MAR - Prohibition of take-away and closure of automatic food and drink vending machines from 6 pm and suspension of retail sales activities from 7 pm. These
are the restrictions provided for by the new anti-Covid ordinance signed by the mayor of Bari, Antonio Decaro , effective from tomorrow 28 March.
The new provision was necessary "for" the exponential increase of new cases - explains the Municipality - and a cumulative weekly incidence of infections, starting from February 22, exceeding 250 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, with a weekly index still growing ", equal to 287.4 in the provincial territory in the week until March 7, with 3,536 new cases per week and, in the day of March 9 alone, 797 new cases.
In particular, the ordinance provides for the ban on taking away food and drinks from 6 pm for all catering activities included in the ATECO Code 56 (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, pastry shops, food-trucks) and for all commercial activities detail of beverages in specialized stores included in the ATECO Code 47.25;
the closure of the 24-hour food and beverage vending machines from 6 pm to 7 am;
the closure from 7 pm of all retail activities (except foodstuffs, newspapers and periodicals, medicines and medical items, flowers and flower-nursery items, tobacco, fuels for domestic use and motor fuels, funeral items) both in neighborhood businesses, and in medium and large sales structures, even if included in shopping centers, and stopping the closures on holidays and days before holidays.
