(ANSA) - TEL AVIV, MARCH 10 - Serious side effects have not been recorded in dozens of children under 16 who have been administered the Pfizer vaccine in Israel until now reserved for older than that age. And this seems like a positive index for the trials that the vaccine pharmaceutical companies are conducting for the immunization of the little ones. The vaccination in question - explained the Ynet site - was however approved by the health authorities as the subjects involved (whose age was not specified) all presented specific clinical situations at high risk once contracted the virus. These factors include obesity, diabetes, serious heart and lung disease, cancer and immunosuppression. Each individual case - explained the Ynet website - received the approval not only of the attending physician but also of the special Vaccines Committee of the Ministry of Health before the final vaccination. The ministry of the rest - it was recalled - had already recommended the vaccination of children between 12 and 15 years in the presence of particular pathologies. (HANDLE).
