Over seventy roles

It made its debut in 1942, under the Occupation.

In an interview with the Forum Opera website in 2014, she remembers attending a performance of

Ariadne à Naxos,

an opera by Richard Strauss, at the Opéra-Comique in Paris:

“I arrived from my province.

I had been given places and it was all green.

Only Germans in uniform, ”

she said.

Popular in the 1940s and 1950s, the soprano, born in Perpignan on February 13, 1921, sang more than seventy roles on the major French stages and contributed to numerous lyrical shows in France and abroad.

She, too, left several recordings.

In the early 1980s, however, she decided to end her career.
