Michelle Obama enters the National Women's Hall of Fame.
This was announced by the organization that aims to honor women who have distinguished themselves in fields such as the arts, athletics, business, education, government, philanthropy and science.
In particular, the former First Lady, as the first African-American in that role at the White House, turned out to be one of the most influential women of the 21st century.
This year's biennial ceremony will take place on October 2 at the National Women's Hall of Fame in Seneca Falls, New York.
It will be in attendance but with the necessary anti Covid precautions.
