I believe all our lives have educated us that food is a comforting thing.

When we were born, breastfed or ate from a bottle on mom's hands.

When we were sad Mom would comfort us with the food we loved most, and hence emotional eating was born.

In the past food was used by us only for subsistence.

Did you know that food does cause a good mood?

But do you think my mood is less good than someone who's fed junk all day?

no and no.

My mood is affected by completely different things that have nothing to do with what I ate during the day.

I believe that because we have brainwashing over food that looks good on social media, it is hard for us to refuse a nice dish.

I believe we eat first with our eyes, not out of hunger.

I believe that a healthy lifestyle is not a slogan, but in order for it to be possible one needs to understand the true meaning of the definition.

I believe that true love does not depend on anything, if you love food, understand that it has consequences for your body and accept it.

If you do not accept this, you should consider how much you really like food.

If you love your body, understand that there are foods that you need to part with because they only harm your body.

So what do you do to control your emotional eating?

1. Do not avoid eating carbohydrates: This refers to carbohydrates that are suitable for you and your daily diet.

There are very many myths regarding carbohydrates.

Carbohydrate raises our mood and releases a hormone called "dopamine" - the happiness hormone.

But low-quality carbohydrates will cause a sharp rise in blood glucose and a rapid drop, which will exacerbate the feeling of frustration and melancholy and cause us to eat empty and non-nutritious carbohydrates over and over again, and thus the cycle of emotional eating will only worsen.

Proper nutrition is designed so that you can enjoy good health for many more years, without medication and without dependence on doctors.

The starting point should start from here, not out of dissatisfaction with your body, your weight and your overall appearance.

2. The Rebbe in physical activity: During physical activity, a hormone called "endorphin" is released - the mood hormone.

This hormone raises our mood immediately.

When you exercise on a daily basis, you will earn twice as much, you will also maintain a good mood throughout the day and you will also strengthen and sculpt your body.

Exercise is meant to maintain your body health, mental health, to breathe life into your body, to acknowledge it and thank you for motivating you and working for you.

Do the same for him.

Work for him, take care of him.

3. Do not shut up with yourself on less good days: we have a tendency to disconnect from the environment, put on a TV show that in most cases also does not really interest us and sink into a bucket of junk.

A strong and supportive environment will help you take everything in proportions and strengthen you in moments when it is difficult for you.

However, the junk you continue to eat will bring you down, causing you to lose your self-confidence and destructive self-criticism.

Our personal wholeness depends on the basic understanding of what brings proper nutrition, exercise and a supportive environment to our lives.

Body and mind are one piece, one being.

Mental wholeness will bring with it physical wholeness.

All the rest of the decor has a ceiling with determination, perseverance and work.

Some will say it's hard work, but I believe it's a way of life.
