A man threw several incendiary devices over the fence of the Chinese embassy in Berlin on Wednesday morning.
The bullets crashed on the floor in front of a wall in the embassy building, the police said.
Accordingly, the incident occurred around 6 a.m.
According to the police, employees of the embassy managed to put out the fire with a fire extinguisher.
According to the information, there were no injuries, and the fire would not have spread to the embassy building.
The 42-year-old suspect was held by witnesses and employees of a security company until the police arrived.
As the police announced, the man has now been transferred to the police state security, which has taken over the investigation.
The background to the crime is still unclear.
