Missing case in London: "Shocking and very disturbing"

A police officer was arrested after the disappearance of a young woman in London a week ago.
"We will continue to work on this investigation as quickly as possible, but the fact that the arrested man is a member of the Metropolitan Police is shocking and very disturbing," said Inspector Nick Ephgrave in a statement from the police.
The suspect and another woman believed to be linked to the case were arrested and held in custody on Tuesday at an address in the southern county of Kent.
A 33-year-old woman disappeared in London on the evening of March 3 when she was about to walk home.
How exactly the arrested policeman is supposed to be linked to her disappearance is still unclear.
There is no trace of the missing person, the investigators continue to search the area.
