The company Air France must test from this Thursday, and for one month, a "digital health pass" on its routes from Paris to Guadeloupe and Martinique, in order to "improve the experience of its customers and streamline their journey through the airport ”.

The results of the negative Covid test, necessary for travel, will be authenticated through a partnership with a laboratory and saved securely on an application.

Such a system “makes it possible to facilitate the transport of documents, to digitize them and to authenticate them.

It avoids fraud, it unclogs queues ”on boarding and arrival, said Jean-Baptiste Djebbari, the Minister for Transport, this Thursday morning on RMC.

"The (air) sector wished to anticipate" which, according to him, could be "a foreshadowing or anticipation, in any case a full-scale experiment, of what could be tomorrow a future travel pass or a health pass ".
