27,166 new coronavirus infections have been identified in the past 24 hours in France, according to figures released this Thursday by Public Health France.

This is 3,013 less than the day before (30,303) and 1,887 more than a week ago (25,279).

At the hospital, the number of hospitalizations remains high.

24,858 people are currently hospitalized due to Covid-19, compared to 24,969 on Wednesday.

Seven days ago, there were 24,891 patients across France.

3,992 people are currently in intensive care units: 74 more than the day before (3,918) and 359 more than a week ago (3,633).
