The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, awarded 28 "Standard Bearer" certificates of honor to young people who in 2020 distinguished themselves for their commitment and courageous and supportive actions, and represent, through their testimony, the future and the hope in a year that will remain in history due to the tragic events linked to the pandemic.
This was announced by the Quirinale.
Alongside the 28 Certificates of Honor, three plaques for collective action were also assigned, which also draw inspiration from the values of altruism and a profound sense of responsibility, in this period of health emergency.
