(ANSA) - ISTANBUL, 12 MAR - Turkey plans to host peace talks on Afghanistan in April in Istanbul.
This was announced at a press conference by the Foreign Minister of Ankara, Mevlut Cavusoglu.
"We are discussing the exact date and content" of the summit, which should bring together representatives of the government of Kabul and the Taliban under the auspices of the United States, the Turkish minister explained, stating that these talks "will not be an alternative to the ongoing process in Qatar. but they will support it "in an attempt to" obtain concrete results ".
