The past week has marked the resurgence of Israeli restaurants, those that have been closed for very long months, very much, due to the corona restrictions in the country.
So gourmet lovers flocked to taste, hot places were filled to the brim and booking a table for a reputed restaurant was downright impossible - but wow!
Celebs know that not every place that serves hot dishes is considered a success story.
Without a reputed chef, seductive design and a crazy atmosphere, it might be a little difficult to attract the masses of gluttons, so history shows that the restaurant industry is particularly cruel - just ask some of the biggest stars in the world who have tried their luck in the "Chef Games" world.
Along with a few success stories, some of the most successful and famous people in the global entertainment industry embarked on a culinary adventure in which they invested their time and money, but unfortunately ended up with broken plates and hearts (at best) or upset stomachs (at worst) and minus tens, hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars in bank account .
Warning: Eating is your sole responsibility.

tried to combine her two favorite places in the world into one restaurant - when she opened NYLA in midtown Manhattan in 2002 under the original concept: "Favorite restaurant of The princess of pop all over the globe. "
The concept, combined New York cuisine with that of her hometown, Louisiana, with Southern-style food, which became Italian a few weeks later, but the place closed its doors a total of six months after opening.

The culinary style combined Cuban and Puerto Rican delicacies, the stars flocked there in the first year, but customers abandoned her very quickly - which led Jay Lou to hire her first husband to run the place to save him and end up with him (again!) With dismissals, which dragged her to court (again!!).
Six years after it opened, the place closed its gates.

Remember star restaurants like "Planet Hollywood" sponsored by a few actors or "Hard Rock Cafe" that features souvenirs of international music stars?

teamed up to launch in New York "Fashion Café" - a restaurant that is all fashion, apparently. Only then did everyone claim that "models do not eat ", Or at least did not do so at the time, so after opening several branches around the world and lots of merchandise sold in quantities (compared to the packages), the chain closed in 1998, after three faltering years.
The owners, in case you were wondering, were accused years later of cheating and money laundering, while the supermodels, who were actually the brand’s “embassy,” claimed their partners had stolen their investment money.

, a New York Italian named "Destino" that opened in 2006 and was abandoned by the singer just a year later, is a bit odd.
True, it excited stars and visitors in Manhattan at first, only then the place suffered from "plumbing and flooding problems" that drove the gluttons away ... but not floods of water, but of sewage with feces.
Of people.

No wonder the place closes!

, also decided to get into business so in 2016 she decided to invest in a kid-friendly restaurant called "Au Fudge", which was supposed to be an exclusive club for young friends only - the children of Hollywood wealthy people - not to mention another branch of "McDonald's" (without underestimating, of course).
For some reason, the wealthy parents did not flock with the offspring to the sweet restaurant, so after two years, the restaurant made no money, closed and remained for the time being only as a catering service for toddler parties, but only of those who could afford it.

, has apparently found out the hard way that steak for women only may not be the best idea to invest in ... because who would have thought girls would go out with their girlfriends to eat a juicy piece of meat, even if smaller than restaurants for all The family, instead of hanging out at a trendy bar with a glass of cocktail in hand?
Longoria, opened "SHe by Morton's" in 2012 in Las Vegas, only to close the restaurant two years later (mostly due to sanitation issues, which recurred 32 times!) And realize that it is not exactly politically-correct to offer special-sized dishes, just because you were born For the beautiful sex.

may be considered one of the most remembered, impressive and entertaining wrestlers in WWF, WWE history or whatever you call it today, but even at the height of his glory days, somewhere in the nineties of the last century, he failed to turn his pasta restaurant - which earned its original name "Pastamania!" - for a success story.
Although it opened in a huge mall in Central America to great acclaim in 1995 and sold dishes called "The Macaroni" or "Hulk Power Pasta", no matter how much the giant tried to promote it in the media, it closed less than a year later.
Apparently the audience was not enthusiastic about fast-food sauce-eating competition, huh?
