(ANSA) - CAIRO, MAR 12 - More or less 210 people were kidnapped last night near Kaduna, in northern Nigeria, but 180 were saved "in the early hours" of today by the army and therefore "about 30" students and students are still to be found. This was reported by the Nigerian website Daily Post quoting a "statement" by the government of the state of Kaduna, thus refuting testimonies that spoke of the kidnapping of girls.
"42 female students, eight employees and 130 students" from the "Federal Forest Mechanization College" were rescued.
This is the fourth kidnapping of this type in less than three months in the north-west and center of Nigeria where "bandits" operate who then ask for ransoms. (HANDLE).
