(ANSA) - TARANTO, MARCH 13 - A 16-year-old boy drove his 48-year-old father's car, accidentally shifted into reverse gear and hit him, killing him.
The accident took place yesterday afternoon near a family house in Marina di Pulsano (Taranto).
The victim was an Ilva worker.
From the first investigations it seems that the young man was doing some driving tests when he lost control of the vehicle that hit his father, engaged in some work in a driveway facing the house.
According to what has been learned, the man found himself in the path of the car and was first hit and then crushed against a wall.
The 118 operators who intervened on the spot could not do anything but ascertain the death of the man.
The carabinieri have started investigations to shed full light on the incident.
