Covid: positive decline and victims, towards 3 thousand in resuscitation

(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 13 - Over 26 thousand stable, but the coronavirus positives in the last 24 hours in Italy are warm compared to yesterday.

Victims are also falling, while intensive care is approaching the ceiling of 3,000 hospitalized patients.


    There are 26,062 cases found today, according to data from the Ministry of Health.

Yesterday there were 26,824.

The dead are 317, yesterday there were 380.


    372,944 molecular and antigenic swabs were performed in the last 24 hours;

yesterday the tests were 369,636.

The rate of positivity (positive / test ratio) today is 6.98 %%, yesterday it was 7.2%, so today it is down by 0.2%.


    There are 270 admissions to intensive care for Covid-19.


   The daily balance between entries and exits is 68 more patients.

In total there are now 2,982 people in intensive care (the peak remains 4,068 as of April 3 last year).

In the ordinary wards (pneumatology and infectious diseases) patients increased by 497 units compared to yesterday, bringing the total to 24,153.


    The total cases since the beginning of the epidemic are 3,201,838, the deaths 101,881.

The currently positive are 520,061 (+10,744 compared to yesterday), the discharged and healed 2,579,896 (+14,970), in home isolation there are 492,926 people (+10,179).
