Liensberger wins slalom 2 in Aare, blue still ko

Heart-pounding finals are announced next week (ANSA)  The second special women's slalom of the Alpine Ski World Cup, in Aare, was won by the Austrian Katharina Liensberger (1'47 "93), the first success in the Cup after the world gold. Behind her the American Mikaela Shiffrin, only second on his 26th birthday, in 1'48 "65. Third was the Swiss Wendy Holdener (1'49 "58).     Only 8 / a, however, the Slovak Petra Vhlova (1'50" 64): after a bad mistake

Third was the Swiss Wendy Holdener (1'49 "58).


    Only 8 / a, however, the Slovak Petra Vhlova (1'50" 64): after a bad mistake in the first heat, closed in 27 / a position, she then recovered well 19 places, still collecting precious points in the general classification for the conquest of the world cup: now he has 1,352, against 1,256 of the Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami.

And, for the Special Cup, Petra has 612 points, against Liensberger's 590 and Shiffrin's 575.


    For Italy even today, as in yesterday, no blue in the standings, with Irene Curtoni the only one left in the race, but out in the second heat.

The next round of the World Cup is for the absolutely decisive Swiss finals in Lenzerheide, from 17 to 21 March.
