In Dresden, four police officers were injured in connection with demonstrations against the Corona policy.

This was announced by the Dresden Police Department after the deployment.

In addition, 32 crimes have been registered so far - including assaulting law enforcement officers and insulting them.

A total of 49 referrals were issued and almost 400 advertisements were made for violating the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance.

The number will increase because around 200 people were still checked in the evening, it said.

Despite the prohibition of a "lateral thinking" demonstration, hundreds of opponents of the corona measures gathered in the city on Saturday, according to the police.

According to the police operations record, more than 1000 people gathered at the congress center near the state parliament alone - many without a mask and a minimum distance.

Several hundred demonstrators then marched towards the Ostragehege.

Police officers were harassed, it said.

A total of around 1,800 officials were deployed in Dresden.

On Saturday night, the Saxon Higher Administrative Court (OVG) in Bautzen confirmed the ban on the Dresden Administrative Court's "lateral thinking" demonstration planned for Saturday afternoon.
