Jennifer Lopez and her partner Alex Rodriguez appear to be going their separate ways.

Several US media report this unanimously.

The two have been a couple since early 2017 and got engaged in March 2019.

The couple, dubbed "J-Rod" by the tabloid media, have not yet issued an official statement.

The relationship has apparently been in crisis for a long time.

Because of the corona lockdown, Lopez and Rodriguez had to postpone their planned wedding in Europe several times.

In addition, Lopez revealed to the US magazine "Allure" in February that she and ex-baseball professional Rodriguez had sought help in couples therapy during the lockdown.

"I think that was very helpful for us in our relationship," said the 51-year-old.

It would have been the fourth wedding

The singer and actress Lopez brought two children into the relationship who came from a previous marriage to her colleague Marc Anthony.

Rodriguez also has two teenage children with his ex-wife, Cynthia Scurtis, with whom he was married from 2002 to 2008.

For Lopez, the marriage to Rodriguez would have been the fourth wedding.

Her first marriage to actor Ojani Noa ended in 1998. She was married to choreographer Chris Judd from 2001 to 2003.

Her third marriage to Marc Anthony lasted from 2004 to 2014.
