A 47-year-old man employed in Sydney in one of the quarantine hotels was found positive for coronavirus.
The Guardian reports it.
He received his first dose of Pfizer vaccine on March 2.
The drug, explained the health authorities of the Australian state of New South Wales, is effective against Covid-19 only after the second dose.
However, it is assumed, but not yet certain, that having been vaccinated he will develop the coronavirus in a mild way.
The man works in the Mantra and Sofitel Hotel at night on weekends and is likely to have been infected by one of the guests. During the week he works in an office. The double work of hotel employees for the quarantine was a determining factor in the second wave of Covid-19 in Melbourne so much so that the state of Victoria has banned it.
