Encouraging data on vaccine efficacy, along with a decrease in morbidity.
According to health system data released today (Sunday), 74% of corona patients hospitalized were not vaccinated at all, 16% of whom were vaccinated only in the first dose.
And only 8% (83 people) of the 1,003 corona patients in the hospitals were hospitalized after one week of the second dose.
Efficacy is also maintained for the critically ill patients.
Of the 214 respirators in the hospitals, 74% (160) were not vaccinated at all, 17% (37) were vaccinated in one dose and 7.9% (17) had a green passport.
Of the 41 patients who are connected to an Acmo device (artificial heart-lung), and are in a human condition - 82% were not vaccinated at all and 18% managed to be vaccinated in one dose.
The Ministry of Health's "snapshot" report shows that there is a decrease in the number of children and pregnant women hospitalized with corona.
The hospitals now house 31 children with quarantine, four of them infants, compared with 38 a week ago.
Also, compared to 50 hospitalized a week ago, currently in hospitals 28 pregnant women and 13 positive mothers are hospitalized.
38 of them were not vaccinated at all, two received one dose and one received two vaccine doses, but less than a week has passed.
