Struggling for each person's life, and yet - the price is unbearable

Today (Sunday) another sad threshold was crossed in Israel's struggle in Corona: the death toll from the plague today crossed the sad number of 6,000.
An anecdote that illustrates the speed of spread of this deadly plague: today exactly a year ago 5,000 deaths were recorded from Corona, worldwide.
The virus has been with us since the beginning of 2020, but the surge in the death toll has been recorded with each new outbreak of the corona.
For example, in the second wave in October, mortality jumped to about 30 dead daily, and in the midst of the third wave in January, mortality jumped to about 50 dead daily for several days.
The vaccination campaign, which began in the general population at the beginning of January, broke the trend, but only since the end of February has it been reflected in the daily mortality rate, which in recent days stands at less than 20 deaths per day.
Currently 74% of corona patients hospitalized in hospitals have not been vaccinated at all, 16% of them have only been vaccinated with a first dose.
And only 8% (83 people) of the 1,003 corona patients in the hospitals were hospitalized after one week of the second dose.
Efficacy is also maintained for the critically ill patients.
Of the 214 respirators in the hospitals, 74% (160) were not vaccinated at all, 17% (37) were vaccinated in one dose and 7.9% (17) had a green passport.
Of the 41 patients who are connected to an Acmo device (artificial heart-lung), and are in a human condition - 82% were not vaccinated at all and 18% managed to be vaccinated in one dose.
