There are about 105,000 housewives in Israel.

To date, more than 77,000 (about 75%) have been vaccinated in various ways, mainly by bringing them by ambulance to an immunization clinic.

"We will not leave anyone behind," said Minister Edelstein. "There is no citizen in Israel who wants to get vaccinated and will not be able to. That no one will be left behind. "

Prof. Hezi Levy, Director General of the Ministry of Health, explained that as part of the vaccination campaign, it was clear that the home-bound were a special population. "Most of them are elderly, with serious illnesses.

With the help of the HMOs and with the work worthy of appreciation, the HMOs reached the homes and moved the house confined to vaccination centers, thus vaccinating over 70% of the house confined.

For some, who can not leave their homes and get vaccinated in clinics and vaccination centers, the method has been developed.

"MDA ambulances will arrive at homes with the HMO nurses. In this way, we will be able to vaccinate the rest of the house and vaccinate more than 95% of those aged 50 and over," he said.
