Amid the coronavirus vaccine shortage, the national government is finishing adjusting the details of a new mission that will bring a new batch of Sputnik V vaccines.
A high government source told
Clarín
: "We are waiting to confirm the flight plan to report. There are not 500,000 doses [as it transpired].
We are going to report with the plane loaded.
As in the last flights."
At the same time, according to what this newspaper could learn from sources linked to the National Ministry of Health,

The versions circulating at least since Sunday, the shipment of Sputnik V would arrive this week.
And in the next one, more of Sinopharm's Chinese vaccines could arrive.
So far, 4,050,000 doses of vaccines have reached the country.
The first shipment arrived in Argentina on December 24, there were
300,000
doses of Sputnik V;
the second arrival was on January 16, and it brought the
same quantity
to the country
, also of the Russian vaccine;
the third shipment of vaccines landed in Ezeiza on Thursday, January 28, that time there were
220,000
doses of Sputnik V (strictly speaking, 240,000 arrived, but 20,000 were destined for Bolivia);
the fourth delivery was on February 12, another
400,000
doses of the Russian vaccine.
In turn, on February 15,
580,000
doses of the Covishield vaccine arrived, which is the vaccine from the University of Oxford and the AstraZeneca laboratory, manufactured at the

entered the country through Ezeiza
(on a KLM flight) and

applications of Sputnik V in two Aerolineas Argentinas planes.
Thus, until now, the country received 2,470,000 doses from Sputnik V;
of Sinopharm, one million doses and of AstraZeneca, 580,000.
