The Sea of Galilee continues to return to the public:
throughout the night, the heavy iron fences around the renewed plant beach in the National Lake have been removed, allowing free entry to the public, from the main road, directly to the beach free of charge.
Mythological Plant Beach has been closed for the past three years, and as first reported in Walla!
Last November, the government determined that the beach would be the responsibility of the Kinneret Cities Association, the corporation responsible for the maintenance of the beaches, would be rehabilitated and made public.
Tomorrow (Thursday), the bathing season will open with rescue services on all the shores of the Union of Kinneret cities, without playing music.

The 17th beach to be accessible to the public
Tzemach Beach used to be an attraction for families and young people, who enjoyed the summer festivals and performances of the best Israeli artists, but more than ten years ago it lost its prestige after being banned from entering beaches around the country and slowly dying until it was dammed about three years ago.
As a result, the beach became deserted and neglected.
Kibbutz Alumot will operate the beach since 1985 and invested NIS 2.7 million in it, but in a compensation agreement with the Israel Land Authority, the kibbutz transferred Hof Tzemach to the management of the Jordan Valley Regional Council, which requested that it be operated by the Kinneret Cities Association.
The association, which was established by virtue of the Sea of Galilee Law, is currently responsible for the management, maintenance and operation of some of the beaches around the lake.
The length of the perimeter shoreline of the Sea of Galilee is 55 km, and the union has so far had a direct warranty on a 12 km strip on 16 beaches.
The length of a plant beach is 550 meters, and its area is spread over 25 dunams that can accommodate about 1,250 vacationers.
It will be the 17th beach run by the union.

Susita Beach has also opened
In addition to Tzemach Beach, the Kinneret Cities Association is opening another beach -
Susita Beach
, which also underwent the association's treatment last year and was closed for safety work.
"This season we are expecting more than 2.5 million vacationers in the Sea of Galilee, due to the fear of flying abroad due to the corona," says Kinneret City Association chairman Idan Greenbaum.
"The other two beaches will allow more space for a vacation on the Sea of Galilee. We ask the public, who are all interested in a pleasant pastime in the national lake, to be patient and responsible, obey lifeguards and staff, maintain safety procedures, supervise children in water and beach, keep clean, drive very carefully. "Cruise and take care not to disturb others. After a long period of closure, we all need a vacation. I wish everyone a pleasant vacation in the Sea of Galilee and health."
In preparation for Shavuot, another beach will open - Doga Beach in the eastern part of the Sea of Galilee - which is currently undergoing work and transfer processes to the franchisee.
Doga Beach has been developing and constructing buildings to the tune of NIS 30 million, funded by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Tourism, the Ministry of the Interior and the Kinneret Cities Association. And making the beaches accessible to the public, while preserving the values of nature, the environment and heritage.
This season, more than 2.5 million vacationers in Kinneret are expected.
