Damascus-Sana
Today, the Ministry of Education launched an online citizen service targeting teachers, students, and graduates of its schools and institutes.
In a statement that SANA received a copy of, the ministry announced the launch of the service in cooperation with the Ministry of Communications and Technology and its Citizen Service Center, through which teachers and students submit electronic requests to obtain documents issued by the Ministry of Education through the online portal of the citizen service centers.
The electronic service includes 12 services for teachers, students, and graduates of institutes and schools affiliated with the Ministry as a first stage, with the aim of facilitating their access to data at nominal costs compared to fees for issuing documents and shipping fees, improving the quality of administrative work and saving the time and effort of teachers and administrators who may have to leave their workplace to follow up on their papers.
The director of informatics at the ministry, Dr. Yasser Noah, explained in a statement to SANA that the first phase transactions include obtaining certified copies of documents and public certificates and a statement of employment status.
