(ANSA) - COMO, 17 MAR - Today's first day of shooting on Lake Como for the film "House of Gucci" that 83-year-old director Ridley Scott is shooting in Italy in recent weeks.
The actors Al Pacino, Jared Leto, Jeremy Irons, Adam Driver, as well as the pop superstar Lady Gaga, have been staying since yesterday at the grandhotel Villa d'Este in Cernobbio and this morning at dawn they were taken to the set set up in the villa and in the park on the lake of Villa Balbiano, in the Municipality of Tremezzina, where almost all the planned scenes are drawn, including that of a large party by the pool.
Tomorrow the set should move between Argegno and Colonno and on Friday above Gravedona, in Alto Lario.
The staff of about 200 people is housed in four hotels in Tremezzina and Griante, while the operations center was set up in the sports center of Lenno, which is also a reference for anti-covid measures.
