(ANSA) - TOKYO, MAR 17 - The Tokyo Stock Exchange opens the session with the minus sign, following the mixed closure of the US stock indices, pending the outcome of the Federal Reserve meeting and the indications on inflation.
At the beginning of trading, the Nikkei lost 0.27% to 29,841.26 with a loss of 79 points.
On the currency front, the yen appreciates again against the dollar at a level just above 109, and on the euro at 129.80.
