(ANSA) - MADRID, MARCH 18 - "Today we are a more humane, fairer and freer country": this is how the Spanish prime minister, the socialist Pedro Sánchez, commented on Twitter on the approval of the euthanasia law in the country's Congress.
"Thanks to all the people who have fought tirelessly for the right to die with dignity to be approved in Spain", added Sánchez.
The law was approved with 202 yes, 142 no and two abstentions.
