(ANSA) - ROME, MARCH 18 - "The Handmaid's Tale" the acclaimed tv series with Elisabeth Moss returns in exclusive preview from April 29 - 24 hours after its broadcast in the USA - with the fourth season on TimVision (on which the serious and complete).
Inspired by the dystopian novel by Margaret Atwood, translated into Italy as "The Handmaid's Tale", it tells a dystopian future in which the United States of America fell in favor of the society of Gilead, a totalitarian, militarized and emisogynous state led by religious extremists in which handmaids, the only fertile women among all the women left on the planet live in a kind of slavery.
The new season - which already from the first trailer promises to be intense and spectacular - arrives over a year after the previous one, and is highly anticipated.
In the cast, in addition to Moss, Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, MadelineBrewer, OT Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford, and SamJaeger.
