give another surprise: a new version of

'Che Sara'

, 50 years after the performance in

with José Feliciano

, again together with the Puerto Rican star

.

"Re-singing and listening to this immortal song today, written by Jimmy Fontana and Franco Migliacci, is particularly moving. The text takes on a flavor of hope rather than melancholy if we think about the times we are living in, the uncertainty of the future and who has left us. ",

the Rich and Poor say to ANSA

.

"It was an honor and a great emotion" for the quartet to be able to find José Feliciano, present in the video (

"Everything can evolve and change positively - says the quartet that today represents the most famous Italian historical group in the world - our reunion is an example of newfound friendship".

'What will be', José Feliciano with the Rich and Poor 50 years later - Exclusive Preview

In the 70s and 80s some of their singles reached the top of the Italian and international charts, with twelve participations in the Sanremo Festival, twice in second place and the victory in 1985 with 'Se m'innamoro'.

THE RICH AND POOR: "Friendship is the first beautiful thing" - VIDEO Interview

For 'the brunette' of Ricchi e Poveri,

Angela Brambati

this song represents many things: "When we sang it in Sanremo in 1971 - she remembers - we spoke above all to the emigrants who left Italy to find luck elsewhere and we talked about nostalgia and the uncertainty of the future. When we sang it in America, the Italians stood up and felt an emotion that was difficult to translate. Today the song, in some respects, is even more relevant because that 'I can do everything or maybe nothing from tomorrow it will be seen and it will be, it will be what it will be 'in the end it tells about life, it is universal. It will be what it will also means getting involved every day. For us the text represents the hope that everything can evolve and change positively, our ReuniOn is an example of newfound friendship. We would like to interpret the desire for a better future for the country ".

For 'the blond'

Angelo Sotgiu "to

meet again after 50 long years together with Feliciano, revised a long time ago in Chile at the Vigna del Mar Festival, and to sing again together 'Che sara' was extraordinary: this song is out of time and truly belongs to In singing and playing it, Feliciano put his artistic personality that made him famous all over the world, not only for his songs but also for having interpreted this masterpiece not written by him but which now belongs to all generations ".

For

Marina Occhiena,

'the blonde' returned 'home' last year after leaving the quartet in 1981 and turning it into a trio, "this song is positive because it looks to the future even if with a question mark. 'What will it be' means to face it. life with confidence, you have to believe it. I wish everyone to think 'What will it be', it means still having a tomorrow ".

Even the 'mustache' of Ricchi e Poveri

Franco Gatti

underlines the relevance of the text: "The song and the refrain, for what it says and the simplicity of singing, has reached today. Each one can be identified in a phrase or in the 'other because the song has so many nuances.' What will be 'is what we are experiencing now with the pandemic.' It will be what will be 'will remain forever ".

CHE SARA '

is the second single of the double album

ReuniOn

(produced by DM Produzioni and distributed by Sony Music Entertainment Italy) and anticipates the release of the limited edition on vinyl scheduled for April 9th.

The piece, part of the collective memory, is today the soundtrack to bet on the future.

The video, produced by Danilo Mancuso under the direction of Raffaello Fusaro, will be available from 23 March on the official channels of the group.

It proposes a linear story: the musical performance of the Rich and the Poor during a day in the studio.

The choice of an essential setting is given by the extraordinary nature of the meeting between the group and José Feliciano, a special guest of international fame.

The editing rhythm and the cuts are not underlined by special effects but by the polyphony of the male and female voices and by the strength of the piece.

The Ricchi e Poveri sing 'Che Sara' again together with the Puerto Rican artist as if time had not passed and the questions of the song were still relevant, assuming the sense of a new unknown about the future.

The album was made under the musical direction of Maestro Lucio Fabbri who oversaw the new arrangement revisiting the repertoire of the 70s with modern sounds and the hits of the 80s and 90s, for the first time sung with four voices, instead of only from three, with a successful ensemble effect.

'

The Last Love'

was the album's first single.

This is the first song of the career of Ricchi e Poveri, recorded in 1968, cover of 'Everlasting Love', made famous by Love Affair, rearranged by Matteo Cantaluppi with 90s dance sounds, with
