This week it is the pandemic that dominates the top news and the choice of photos.
Starting from the death of Raoul Casadei, the king of smooth, crushed by Covid, up to the suspension (and subsequent readmission) in Italy and Europe of the administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
And then President Draghi's homage to Bergamo to the victims of the virus on March 18, the first day dedicated to the memory of the dead of the pandemic.
And the particular visual installation created by the French artist JR also has a reference to the closures caused by Covid, which looks like a gash that allows a glimpse of the interior on the facade of Palazzo Strozzi in Florence.
For sport we want to remember the Sofia Goggia World Cup and the death of boxing legend Marvin Hagler.
Finally, the horror in Mozambique with the violence of some Islamic groups who beheaded some children
