From the Oval Office, Joe Biden, the grim face, spoke Thursday evening to mark the first year of the epidemic in the United States, which has so far killed 530,727.
The US president has ordered that anti-Covid vaccines be available to all adult Americans by May 1.
The White House has again assured that it will have a sufficient stock of vaccines to vaccinate the population.
That means vaccinating 100 million people, twice, in 100 days.
“Not only will we achieve this goal, but we will even exceed it,” said Joe Biden.
So far, 32.9 million Americans, or 10.2% of the population, have received both doses of the vaccine.

President Biden nonetheless urged the population to remain extremely vigilant, otherwise they would have to impose more restrictions.
Because the White House wants to reconnect with a feeling of normality for July 4, national holiday.
"If we do not remain vigilant and conditions change, then we may have to reinstate the restrictions to get back on track," he insisted.
