While some border on departments that have already been reconfigured, such as Ile-de-France or the Alpes-Maritimes, others, like the Rhône, appear more isolated on the map.
“There is no logic of contamination from one department to another.
The increase in the incidence rate seems to be linked more to the behavior of people, who tend to relax now, more than to a geographical phenomenon.

However, will these departments be confined in the coming days?
Hard to say.
Hospital pressure, and more particularly in intensive care units, will also certainly play a role.
As for the circulation of the virus, it is difficult to anticipate.
“You have to wait and adapt.
The only advice that we can give to the population of these departments for the moment is to remain vigilant.
The first precaution concerns people aged 50 to 70, who must at all costs avoid having too many social relationships in the coming days, ”continues Martin Blachier.
