Former US President Donald Trump's luxury resort Mar-a-Lago in Florida has been partially closed due to a corona outbreak.
Some of the employees had tested positive for the corona virus, said the club's management in an email from which the Washington Post quoted.
For this reason, the so-called Beach Club and the dinner room would be temporarily closed.
The resort management did not announce how many employees were sick.
Trump has lived permanently on his luxury Mar-a-Lago estate in Palm Beach since moving out of the White House in January.
In January, Palm Beach district authorities warned the resort for violating corona rules during a New Year's Eve party.
On a video published by Trump's son Donald Trump Jr. numerous tightly packed guests without masks could be seen dancing and singing to a performance by the rapper Vanilla Ice.
Ex-President Trump first denied the danger posed by the coronavirus at the beginning of the pandemic, then downplayed it for a long time and finally fell ill with Covid-19 himself last autumn.
In addition, the 74-year-old made it clear to the last that he found wearing masks rather annoying.
According to Palm Beach's infection control rules, guests at the luxury resort Mar-a-Lago must wear face masks at all times, except when eating and drinking.
Last weekend, however, there were two major fundraising events there, according to the Washington Post.
Trump was at one of them and, like most of the guests, did not wear mouth and nose protection, according to photos.
