32 celebrities were photographed with great courage without make-up and without filters for an exhibition of 2-meter-long photos • The result is spectacular and inspiring
The "FACE IT" project of fashion photographer Eitan Tal, together with makeup artist Eran Pal and producer Moshe Abramov, brought together 32 celebrities without makeup and without hair styling, just as they look in reality in the morning.
The three created an exhibition of photographs of women in visible faces that opened last night (Saturday) at the "Design Terminal" in Bat Yam, where 32 huge black-and-white portraits of quite a few famous women in a wide range of ages are displayed.
Among those photographed are Michal Ansky, Nurit Geffen, Hila Rahav, Evelyn Hagoel, singer Ilanit, Tzipi Pines, Natalie Dadon, Leah Schnirer, Maya Dagan, Maya Wertheimer, Michaela Barko, and more.
This project comes after in the past year quite a few celebrities and opinion leaders uploaded unfiltered photos of themselves, in order to encourage women to accept their natural beauty as it is, without effort to hide what the Instagram era dictates to them.
Photographer Eitan Tal says that "it is not easy for celebrities to agree to be exposed. Even though it is black and white photography, the camera still emphasizes wrinkles and blemishes. They came to the studio, and Eran the makeup artist took off all the makeup and the end result. "Without filters 2 meters in size. It takes courage and strength to agree to be exposed like this."
Tal states that he wants to continue photographing more celebrities.
When asked who he would like to photograph naked without makeup and neat hair, he says that he would be happy to photograph Jordana Arazi and Nicole Reidman.
"I approached them but they were not ready," he said.
The photos will be displayed in the exhibition until 4/4 at the "Design Terminal" in Bat Yam.
The photos will be offered for sale, and the proceeds from their sale will be transferred to the "Get Out of the Box" association.
