The big blur
In the 16 confined departments this certificate remains useful in several cases.
“Within a radius of 10 km around the place of residence, the corresponding journeys can be made without certificate, subject to being able to present proof of address,” it is written.
Officially, however, the certificate remains necessary for shopping, taking children to school, going to a place of worship or culture such as a library, and carrying out administrative or legal procedures.
In fact, the walk being authorized for 10 km with a simple proof of residence, the checks seem difficult to carry out to tell the difference.

In any case, it is still allowed to travel between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. beyond the 10 km limit.
And this is where the attestation remains necessary.
This concerns professional travel or to the place of education or training, medical travel, the "compelling family reason" (assistance to vulnerable people, precarious or childcare), people with disabilities and their accompanying , a judicial or administrative summons, removals, transit to a station or an airport.
Moreover, even if the certificate mentions a limit for “trips within the department of residence”, people living on the edge of a department benefit from the same rules for travel over 10 km and beyond.
