Ingredients

3-4 pcs Whole chicken legs (not divided)
2 beautiful oranges
3 lemons with a beautiful peel
4 purple onions
1 head of garlic
3-4 thyme branches
For the sauce:
1 orange squeezed into juice
5 tablespoons natural maple
1 tablespoon lemon zest
¼ Olive oil
1 tablespoon mustard
½ Spoon coarse salt
½ Grated black pepper
1 teaspoon sweet paprika

Preparation
How to make a festive chicken in oranges?
1 Mix all the sauce ingredients together in a large bowl.
Add in the chicken, mix well so that the sauce coats them and leave in the fridge for at least an hour.
2 Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
3 Place the poultry on a baking sheet lined with baking paper (the sauce left in the bowl is set aside to continue).
Put in the oven for 30 minutes.
4 Meanwhile, slice the two oranges and three lemons into round slices.
The onions are peeled and cut.
Put them all in the mixing bowl with the remaining sauce, along with the garlic head.
5 After roasting for 30 minutes, remove the chicken pan from the oven.
Arrange the sliced citrus, onion and garlic in the poultry pan, pour over the remaining sauce, arrange the thyme sprigs and return to the oven for another 40 minutes.
